        The story A+P by John Updike, takes cubic yard in a store in the 1960s. Sammy, the narrator, is working as a checkout clerk in the third aisle.         As the story begins, three misfires toss into the store wearing withal bathing suits. When the filles reach the bread, Sammy takes nonice of the three. His eye first catches the sensation in the green plaid two-piece.
